A cut & polish is absolutely the best thing you can do to get your paint to its peak condition. As paint ages through exposure to sun, dirt, pollution and wear-and-tear, it can begin to appear dull or hazy and can acquire light scratches. Regular paint cleansing and waxing helps slow this process, but at some stage a cut and polish is required to restore your car’s surface and shine. It’s a great way to add value to your car if you’re selling, or to restore that finish that you miss –or never got to experience in the case of a second hand car.
Cut and polishing is a mechanical process that takes place after washing and cleansing your paint. One of our skilled operators will use an orbital buff and polish machine to apply a sequence of special coarse, medium and fine compounds to remove scratches and stains from your paintwork.
Once the paint is free of contaminants, we apply our special high-quality wax by hand, then buff it to bring out the shine and protect the finish of your car.
